Nemours Children's Specialty Care Jacksonville Receives Gift of $16,000 from Hobbyists Dedicated to Toy Train Collecting and Department 56 Village Displays

The Northern Florida Division of the Atlantic Coast S Gaugers was well represented on the TCA 'Make Trax to Jax' Convention Committee. We were going to do more to promote S gauge than any other TCA convention.

The following S gaugers held key leadership positions on the Convention Committee:

• Fred Gorbell - Auctions
• Lloyd Lippert - Public Displays
• Steve Baxendale - Seminars
• Larry Shughart - Tours
• Mike Mills - Security
• Mark Lazlo - Public Relations
• Chuck Bryner - has coordinated TCA's Jacksonville annual swap meet for many years

We all worked very hard to put this convention on, and it is a shame that it was canceled. The charitable donation was a silver lining in what was otherwise a very disappointing outcome.
