Jeff Hill - I.C. 4-8-2 Steam Locomotive

Illinois Central 4-8-2 Steam Locomotive #2429

The engine was made from a Gilbert C&NW Pacific.

Custom work by Joe Deger.

The boiler was stretched using a piece of a copper pipe.

A can motor was added and the Gilbert smoke unit was reworked.

Extra details (cast brass air pumps (2), generator, headlight and bell as well as brass piping) were added.

Jeff added a control board to use with his Lionel command and control system.
