Bill is one of the best people to make use of traditional Gilbert toy trains for interesting scenes.
Often, when the W&OD runs their modular layout, Bill has a neat Plasticville scene.
In these photos from Bill's home layout, he is practicing his camera techniques to photograph close-ups
of rail scenes using vintage Gilbert rolling stock, Flyerville buildings, and lead figures.
As you can now attest, the results are fantastic.
One thing that differs from Bill's modular display is the detailed die cast vehicles below.
Normally, Bill uses traditional looking Dimestore Dreams plastic vehicles.
Now just relax, and enjoy these scenes that take us back in time, both in modeling and prototype.
